WATCH THE MOMENT HE WAS ARRESTED

The Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC) have arrested Alhaji Wakili believed to be the godfather of kidnappers in Iganna area of Oyo State.

For months Wakili has been terrorising residents of Iganna He had boasted that no one could evict him from the area

“We picked him up. We shall hand him over to the police” a member of the Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC) who arrested Wakili told Irohinoodua.

Meanwhile, Afenifere gives tremendous commendation to the OPC under Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo for the arrest of Iskilu Wakilu, a Fulani bandit who has been spreading terror on people in Igboho area with the Nigerian police and other security agencies unable to do anything about him.

A statement signed by Afenifere spokesperson, Yinka Afenifere said “The early morning peaceful arrest confirms our position on how effective local initiative can do well in homeland security.”

He said further “We were not shocked that but for the intervention by the leadership in Oyo state, the police would have gone after the OPC boys instead of taking the criminal from them and do the needful.
Nigeria is going nowhere with a security network that shuns federalism.”
